You will need to use the exponent  key, located on the fourth row the first key on the left,
to key in numbers in scientific notation.
 
( Warning:   The calculator will only hold 10 digits, the decimal point doesn’t count,
  so if your answer is larger than that it will remain in scientific notion.)


bullet3 Positive Decimal and Exponent Example

Change 1.67 x 104 to decimal form.

To input a negative number key in the number then the  key located on the bottom row the third key from the left.
 
Change 4.895 x 10-5  to a decimal.
