The nature of a case can be made less or more problematic according to the characters of people that
intervene
during its development. The author of the case may apply some playwriting techniques for defining hypothetic
characters, and putting them "to act" in the case. To this purpose, the author elaborates
a list of roles, with their
positions and significant traits such as age, gender, temperament, management style, educational level,
etc. When
the author writes the content of the case, he/she will use this list of characters as a refernce reference.
For
example, if a person has been defined as “sales manager, 34 years, obsessive of the discipline and authoritarian”,
this person will not be prone to call meetings and ask for opinions.
