Dr. Wayne Lewis (Ph.D., Regent University, 2003) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Arts at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Prior to joining the faculty at Franciscan University, he worked for daily and weekly newspapers as a reporter, photographer and editor. He also wrote columns. His teaching focus is print. He teaches reporting, feature writing, news editing, publication design and desktop publishing. In addition, he teaches media law, media ethics and the freshman-level courses. He is also the adviser to The Troubadour, the student newspaper on campus. His research interests include values in the media, as well as publication design. Dr. Lewis is a member of the Association of Christian Collegiate Media, Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and Society of News Design.
