How do I use the computer ports on the balcony?
After opening the web browser, type in this address: http://192.168.48.10

Access may be denied:
If you have not activated your student email account to access the web from the balcony
If you type in the wrong password
If you are quarantined by OIT
If you are logged in somewhere else on campus.
If you have any questions, please contact the OIT Help Desk at x7033

NOTE: Content on these computers is filtered. The library staff can not disable the filters.

How do I use my student ID to order books?
To order books you need to use the barcode number on the back of the card, not your student ID number. Do not type in the "a," only the numbers.

How do I check out reserve materials?
Ask the staff person at the Circulation Desk for the book you want. You will need your university ID card. If it is an hourly book, the staff person will tell you  what time the book is due. If it is an 'overnight' book, you may borrow it after 4:00 pm and return it no later than 10:00 am the following morning. Overdue fines for reserve books are $1.00 per hour.

How do I renew a book?
You can renew a book by going to My Account. Items can be renewed up to four times if no one else has requested it. Remember to check the status of all the books when you renew to be sure that they have all been renewed.

How do I find books that are missing from the shelves?
If you are unable to locate a book on the shelves, check the catalog to be sure that the book you're looking for is in the general circulation. Often books are shelved in one of the special collections. If you are still unable to find the book, check with the Circulation Desk.
